About the Founder: Kevin's Journey from Law Enforcement to Precision Agriculture

In 2015, Kevin concluded a distinguished 26-year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), specializing in rural law enforcement and crime scene forensics. Serving as the Unit Commander of the Yorkton Forensic Identification Section and Acting Manager of "F" Division Forensic Identification Services, Kevin honed his expertise in image capture, enhancement, and analysis techniques.

Raised on a mixed grain/beef farm near Roblin, Manitoba, Kevin maintained a connection to agriculture throughout his law enforcement career. Recognizing striking parallels between Precision Agriculture and crime scene forensics, he saw an opportunity to apply his skills to benefit the agricultural sector. In 2017, Kevin founded SAIRS—a knowledge and experience-based company with a profound appreciation for the potential of imagery in agriculture.
